About Walk Home Cocky
Walk Home Cocky is a program that aims to increase safety within the Carolina community. Our volunteers accompany students on their walk home from the Thomas Cooper Library late at night. The service runs from 10:30 p.m. to 2 a.m. from Sunday night to Thursday night in the Thomas Cooper Library.

How do I use it?
If you are studying at the Thomas Cooper Library or just stopping by, you can find the Walk Home Cocky table at the front. You just tell the coordinator your destination, sign the appropriate form, and then two volunteers will accompany you on your way to your destination!

Sunday – Thursday: 10:30 p.m. to 2 a.m.

Wanting to get involved?
We’re currently looking for outgoing students with an interest in promoting safety on the USC campus to volunteer with Walk Home Cocky. Volunteers will be provided with the proper training and will have the opportunity to serve twice a month. if you are interested, please apply at the application below.

Walk Home Cocky began in Freshman Council as an initiative with the goal of providing a safer alternative to walking home alone. It is now an operational Auxiliary program within Student Government with its own director and staff. We are students helping students with over 70 volunteers and dedicated executive team that work to provide this service on a nightly basis.
