Grocery Store Tours:

According to the 2011 USC National College Health Assessment, 98% college students want to learn more about Nutrition during their college years. Grocery store tours are a free service open to students, faculty and staff and offered on a regular basis. Grocery store tours are guided by the Registered Dietitian and Campus Wellness staff.

Participants learn:
- how to navigate the grocery store
- where in the store to locate the healthier foods
- tricks used by food manufacturers
- how to decipher and interpret food labels

FEB 19 at 4:00 p.m. at Gamecock Bi-Lo (4464 Devine Street)

MAR 25 at 10:30 a.m. at Publix on Rosewood Drive (2800 Rosewood Drive)

APR 23 at 4:00 p.m. at Trader Joe’s (4516 Forest Drive)

Campus Dietitians will help you navigate the aisles for healthy foods that won't break your wallet. Each tour will meet at each store entrance 5 minutes prior to start time, and will last approximately 1 hour. Register online now!
