Cholesterol and blood glucose screenings are provided by the Thomson Student Health Center laboratory on a drop-in basis. After fasting overnight, students can drop in at the TSHC laboratory between 8-9am on weekdays for testing procedures.
Once the results are processed and reviewed by one of TSHC’s medical providers, your results will be communicated with you via MyHealthSpace, and in the case of abnormal results, a registered dietitian will follow-up with additional information and education. Campus Wellness staff are available to assist you with any additional questions you have about your results or how to make and sustain lifestyle changes that can have a positive impact on your health and provide referrals as necessary.
